Rachel collects a brace of titles in Denmark
Team Bath badminton player Rachel Howard collected a pair of titles at the under-22 Four Nations Tournament in Denmark.
The University of Bath Psychology student (main picture) beat Denmark’s Karina Jorgensen 21-19, 21-16 to win the women’s singles final.
Then she continued her impressive display by teaming-up with fellow TeamBath player Heather Olver (pictured below) – a Coach Education and Sports Development student – to win the women’s doubles title
The pair beat Danes Maja Bech and Maria Thorberg 21-10, 21-8 to take the women’s doubles final.
The pair were also members of the nine-strong England team that finished runners-up to the host nation in the team event. England beat Holland 7-0 and Sweden 6-1 before going to down to 7-0 to Denmark to finish second overall.
