Dibens is runner-up in LA
Julie Dibens produced another strong performance to finish runner-up in the women’s elite race at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon.
Dibens, who trains at the University of Bath, finished second behind Australia’s Emma Snowsill. Snowsill crossed the line at the end of the 1500m swim, 40k bike ride and 10k run in two hours and 45 seconds yesterday (Sunday). Dibens was runner-up in 2:03.33 – almost four minutes clear of another Australian, Mirinda Carfrae in third.
Dibens, who won the British National Championships title in July this year, was runner up in the 2007 New York Triathlon and came third in the Minneapolis and Chicago triathlons.
