Buccs boys claim Avon League sevens trophy

After losing last weekend in the last-16 of the National EHA Cup, TeamBath Buccaneers under-15 boys fought back to lift the Avon League seven-a-sbuccs-u15side finals trophy at Yate on Sunday (8th March).

The Buccs boys beat Chippenham 2-0, Yate 7-0 and lost 2-1 to Firebrands in the pool matches.

That set up a final against Firebrands, when Buccs avenged their earlier defeat in the pool phase by winning 3-2 on penalty flicks after the scores were level at full-time.

Keeper Matty Bolland produced some great saves to seal victory. The player of the tournament title went to Buccs’ Ed HorBuccs u15 ler.
