Prentice and Burke achieve World Cup bests
University of Bath students Freyja Prentice and Katy Burke both produced their best World Cup performances competing for Great Britain in Cairo at the weekend.
Biology student Prentice, aged 19, finished fifth, while Sports Performance student Burke, came sixth.
It means Prentice continued her record of finishing in the top-10 at all three of her World Cup competitions to date, while Burke’s result was a big improvement on her previous World Cup best of 21st in Mexico a year ago.
British team-mates Mhairi Spence and Katy Livingston, both University of Bath graduades, finished 26th and 29th respectively in Saturday’s World Cup final.
All four train at Pentathlon GB’s high performance centre at the University of Bath.
