Team Bath netball coach, Jess Garland, used the full strength in depth of her squad in a 39-64 victory away to Team Northumbria this weekend.

Team Bath’s netballers shrugged off the effects of a snow-delayed arrival in Newcastle to start strongly and lead 17-10 at the end of the first quarter.

The home side hit back to win the second quarter 13-12 after which Garland made multiple changes to the line-up for the second half.  Team Bath took the third quarter by a crushing 17-5 before going onto win.

Garland said:  “More of our changes worked well and had impact which is a good sign at this stage giving us more options and keeping the competition for places up in the squad.  Overall this was a step in the right direction for this stage in the season”.
