Biography >
Nicholas has worked in the field of health and fitness for the past 10 years, having graduated from Leeds Met Carnegie, with a BSc (Hons) in sport and exercise science. He worked in London between 1997 and 2002 doing both, personal training and medical / fitness screening.

In 2002 he moved to Edinburgh to complete an MSc in Strength and Conditioning. In 2004 he moved to Bath and worked for BUPA in Bristol, training staff in the delivery of fitness testing.

In 2005 Nicholas started working at the University of Bath teaching on the part time Foundation degree in sports performance. In 2006 he moved in to the role of a teaching fellow, delivering theory and practical sessions on the Full time foundation degree, BA Coach Education and Sports Development, and the BSc Sport Science. During my time at Bath he has also delivered on the Block Route foundation degree programme for Judo.

He has participated in a wide variety of sports including surfing, rugby union and league, triathlon, distance running, skiing and snowboarding. He is always keen to learn from other sports transfer skills to new environments.

His role as Strength and Conditioning Coach for Team Bath AFC Ladies began in preseason for 2007-2008. In addition to this role he also provides strength and conditioning advice to the University ladies football Team.
