BUCS Weekly Update – Week 8
Sports people of Bath,
Hot off the press, the latest BUCS rankings have been released and Bath are up to second!

Last week we were back to league action with a full schedule of 47 matches being played with 32 wins and one draw.
The Team of the Week was the Rugby League Men’s 1’s, winning their fifth game of the season to maintain their 100% record against UWE 32-16.
Special mention goes to Toby Davies who put his body on the line, ending up fracturing his jaw in two places. Get well soon Toby.
We also saw yet another clean sweep for the Badminton club, winning all six of their fixtures, the Basketball club, winning their three fixtures and the Tennis club, winning all four of their fixtures.
In other news our Women’s 3’s Badminton and Basketball Men’s 2’s won by considerable margins against Winchester.
The Match of the Week was going to be the Women’s Hockey 1’s against Brunel, however the fixture has been postponed, one can only assume due to the opposition running scared.
Thus instead it will be the Hockey Men’s 1’s taking on Cardiff on Astro Pitch 2 at 2.45. Be sure to get yourself down to watch!
