Bobby Crutchley, former University of Bath hockey coach, has been named the new head coach of the England men’s hockey team. Crutchley, who still lives in Bath, coached University of Bath and Team Bath Buccaneers teams from 1999 to 2005. University of Bath graduate Kelly Gallagher has netted three medals at the International Paralympic Committee Alpine Skiing World Championships in Spain. Gallagher is a visually impaired athlete who graduated from the University with a Mathematics degree in 2006.  She was partnered by guide Charlotte Evans at the championships in La Molina. Bath Intensive Training Centre swimmers Michael Jamieson and Anne Bochmann received the joint awards for November and December, with pistol shooter Kristian Callaghan collecting the men’s January award.
