University of Bath-based triathlete Matt Sharp was the highest placed British male at the New Plymouth World Cup in New Zealand yesterday (Sunday). Team Bath judo player Megan Fletcher is celebrating striking gold at the Pan American Open competition in Uruguay. Fletcher beat Brazil’s Kelly Mesquita with a contest-ending Ippon score in the final of the under-70kg class in Montevideo.
