Singles quarter-finals and doubles semis on court today

06 November 2014

Play is about to start for the day in the Aegon GB Pro-Series at the University of Bath’s Sports Training Village.

An all-British quarter-final in the men’s singles will open the action on court one when fourth-seed David Rice takes on Marshall Tutu in the first of the day’s scheduled quarter-finals.

Poland’s Adam Chadaj, winner in three sets over Team Bath’s Scott Clayton yesterday, will open on court five against Britain’s Joshua Milton.  Clayton had earlier opened the tournament well with a win over third-seed Sam Barry before going down to Chadaj.

Clayton will be back in action later in the day with his team-mate Toby Martin when they feature in the men’s doubles semi-finals against fellow Team Bath-MCTA player Richard Gabb and Jonny O’Mara.

Sarah Beth Askew, of Team Bath, will play her women’s singles second round as third match on court one today, taking on the top seed Buyukakcay from Turkey.

You can come and watch some top quality tennis free of charge at the Sports Training Village today, tomorrow and over the weekend.
