Stephen Baddeley - Director of Sport
Stephen joined as the University of Bath’s Director of Sport in February 2010.
A former professional badminton player, Stephen won numerous Commonwealth, European and national titles in a career running from 1982 to 1990. He remains England’s only Commonwealth Games men’s singles gold medallist.

Michael Hoch - Chief Operating Officer
Michael joined as Chief Operating Officer in July 2009 following a spell as Services Director of London’s Barbican Centre, where he oversaw operations, front of house and customer services.
Michael has an engineering qualification and an MBA specialising in International Business from the City University Business School.
He is responsible for the operations and commercial portfolio at Team Bath.
Katherine Binks – Development and Administration Manager
Katherine is responsible for Team Bath’s contracts with National Governing Bodies and other partners and organisation.
Her role at TeamBath also includes responsibility for the production and implementation of departmental policies on staff development, child protection and equal opportunities. She also produces the department’s planning and financial documents.

Simone Lewis - Senior Manager, Support Services
Simone, who joined in 2002, manages Team Bath’s sport science and sport medicine support services, including applied research delivered by the team of physiological expert, through the Sports Medicine and Injury Clinic and the Human Performance Centre.
In this role, she works closely with ParalympicsGB and other national sports organisations.

Chris Burling - Sport Training and Development Manager
Chris joined the senior management team in 2012 and manages Team Bath’s educational and training strategy, including the provision offered by the Team Bath National Fitness Academy, working closely with Further Education colleges and overseeing scholarship programmes.
Chris followed his BSc with a period of coaching and fitness training, before qualifying as a specialist PE teacher. After achieving QTS, Chris completed an MA in Education.
