Team Bath has been a great supporter of bob-skeleton since the 1990s.

The University supported the development of a push-start track on campus which was finally opened in the 2001/2002 season.

Several talent-identification days have been promoted and held on-site.

Olympic medallists Amy Williams, Alex Coomber and Shelley Rudman, as well as former world cup overall winner Kristan Bromley and Olympian Adam Pengilly are all athletes who have trained or still train at Bath.

The British Bob Skeleton Association’s (BBSKA’s) national HQ is based at the University of Bath as is their world class performance and development programmes.
