Coaching Qualifications
Coaches are motivators, mentors and great teachers.
At Team Bath we can offer the opportunity to become a qualified coach in a number of sports either through courses that we run or through local partners such as Coachwest.
Becoming a qualified coach provides a great opportunity for voluntary and paid employment. Such opportunities provide the potential to get involved, improve career opportunities, and develop personal skills.
Newly-qualified coaches will have the opportunity to be appointed as coaches within Team Bath and become a part of the coach mentor programme. If you would like to know more about coaching opportunities at Team Bath contact the Tribe team.
The Coachbase coach education system offers courses in a wide range of sports either at the University itself of locally. 
These courses, endorsed by the national governing body of each sport, are for coaching and officiating as well as generic coach development courses run through Sports Coach UK such as “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” and “Equity in Your Coaching”.
Your can also train to be a lifeguard through Coachbase.

Course Fees
Course fees can be subsidised for:
- Students who are supporting their student club
- Students who are volunteering within the Sports Association
- Students who are volunteering at a local club or organisation

Learn to be a Lifeguard
We run RLSS National Pool Lifeguard courses. This qualification will allow you to work as a lifeguard in swimming pools across the country and is recognised in many foreign countries as well. To find out more, please contact Jemma Gillard.

Team Bath Coach Development offers an opportunity for students and the general public to gain coaching qualifications and develop their coaching practice.

Team Bath offers a variety of football coaching qualifications. Our in-house team is led by Matt Hale who works with skilled individuals to offer several courses.
