European Training Centre
The University of Bath works in partnership with the European Judo Union to deliver the first European Training Centre.
Team Bath Judo welcomes players from all different nations and we pride ourselves on the excellent quality of coaching staff and the fantastic purpose built dojo and other facilities within the Sports Training Village.
The High Performance programme is led by Juergen Klinger 6th Dan, who is responsible for developing the training programme and preparing the players for high level competition.
Who is this centre designed for?
The centre is aimed at Judo players of a high standard; The European Training Centre focuses upon preparing athletes of all 49 nations in a European environment. Current full time athletes include Olympians, European medalists and many British Champions.
