The team will be coached by Denise Ellis, who has returned to Team Bath after a spell coaching the Welsh national team.

The squad includes 11 players who featured in Team Bath’s 2008/9 National Talent League (NTL) campaign, when Team Bath finished fourth.

Shooter Rosie Allison, who has also played for both the Team Bath Superleague team and the England Under-21 team at this year’s World Youth Championships, features in the squad.

Head coach Denise Ellis, who also continues in her role as England Netball’s regional development coach for the south west, said: “I’m happy to be back involved with the TeamBath franchise after a period away.

“The squad is a blend of experienced players at  NTL, plus some exciting newcomers. This is also reflected in the new management team line-up for the coming season.

“We are all excited about the prospect of the coming season and are relishing the opportunity to take to the court and compete well.”

Emily Flavell continues her role as assistant coach of Team Bath’s NTL team.

Jess Garland, Team Bath’s head netball coach, said: “Denise has a wealth of experience both nationally and internationally and works closely developing the talent in the south west region in her role as talent coach. It’s great to welcome her back to Team Bath and she will also play a strong mentoring role within her position.

“Denise will be supported by Emily Flavell who continues in the role of assistant coach having progressed and developed last season.”

The 2009/10 Netball Talent League will feature 10 teams - eight from the nine Co-operative Superleague franchises and two further regional teams. The league is for players aged 14 to 19.
