Gold Challenge
Through the 3:Thirty Club, the University of Bath will be supporting students wishing to accept the
Gold Challenge.
The Gold Challenge is a charity challenge created to provide people with the chance to try the Olympic and Paralympic sports whilst raising money.
Students and staff can read further information and register on-line at The Gold Challenge, choose their charity and accept a challenge as an individual, club or house group.
3 challenges will be supported through the 3: Thirty club including;
‘Gold Challenge in a day’
A gym and pool based challenge taking on 5 disciplines back to back including a walk, cycle, row, run and swim.
Sports Gold Challenge
Build your own challenge selecting between 5 to 30 sports to attempt during the year.
2012km Challenge
As an individual or group, compete in sports to accumulate a total distance of 2012km as your challenge.
Team Bath are supporting Olympian Rowley Douglas in his challenge to attempt all thirty sports raising money for the NSPCC, follow updates on his progress throughout the year.

Sports Pass
Students with the Sports Pass will have access to a wide range of our sports facilities, including dedicated student participation times, as well as coaching & guidance and priority booking opportunities.

Sports Association
Join the Sports Association and become part of the largest sub group of the Students’ Union. 49 student-led sports clubs operate at both recreational and competitive levels.

3:Thirty Club
The 3:Thirty Club is the University of Bath’s recreational and social sports programme to encourage over 4,000 more students in the next three years to participate in three times thirty minutes of exercise per week.
