Sports Pass
Register for your Sports Pass and buy membership online at the Team Bath Store.
The Sports Pass is the University of Bath’s student sport offering that was introduced in September 2011 to enhance and develop the student sporting experience.
Students with the Sports Pass will have access to a wide range of our sports facilities, including dedicated student participation times, as well as coaching & guidance and priority booking opportunities.
For Freshers starting at the University in the 2012/3 academic year or University of Bath students who pay tuition fees of more than £7000 a year, the Sports Pass is included in your fees at no additional cost. Once you have your Sports Pass you can swim in our 50m pool, play racket sports (tennis, squash & badminton), use the athletics track, the astro and grass pitches and the indoor sports halls at no additional cost.
You do need to register for the Sports Pass online at the Team Bath Store. Once you have registered online, please take your library card to the main Sports Training Village reception to get the Sports Pass activated.
When you’re visiting the online store, why not also pick up one of our classes, gym or gym and classes memberships at our student rates.
Returning students who are not paying more than £7000 in tuition fees pay just £100 for their Sports Pass. As a special offer, as well as getting all of the benefits of the Sports Pass, if you also buy a classes, gym or gym and classes membership at the same time as your Sports Pass, we’re currently offering a 50 per cent discount on the cost of the Sports Pass.
Students can also continue to use our facilities on a pay and play basis, but we are committed to ensuring the Sports Pass offers the most competitive and a
ttractive deal. Money raised through the Sports Pass is reinvested into sport at the University.
Students who want to compete in BUCS competitions for clubs that use the University of Bath’s facilities to train and/or compete will need to purchase a Sports Pass.
Please note, exchange students will need to buy a Sports Pass to use facilities, although like other students, they can use facilities on a pay and play basis or take out a relevant membership, if they prefer.
Terms and conditions apply.
You can help play a role in shaping student sporting activities at the University of Bath by becoming a 3:Thirty Club volunteer ambassador or a volunteer ambassador for a specific sport.
