Performance Volleyball
The club has high performance ambitions aiming to become the first semi-professional club in the UK and to compete in European Club Competitions within five years. By installing a truly professional approach to running the club we can ensure that the benefits are felt through every level of participation and by all members.
Elite athletes and high level performers have an opportunity to join the ‘Performance’ squads, competing in the English National Leagues and Cups with ambitions to go further in the future. Athletes may train and study at the University with a wide range of courses on offer.
Team Bath Scholarships are also offered to high level athletes, offering various streams of support and assistance.
The University of Bath also proudly hosts the British Beach Volleyball Programme and the England Senior Beach Volleyball Programme, developing athletes to compete internationally and qualify for the Olympic Games.
Team Bath’s performance volleyball programme covers both the indoor and beach disciplines and provides its athletes with daily training, coaching and support.
