Nutrition

The Nutritional Advice for Physical Activity programme aims to develop individuals to a competent level to be able to provide and effectively communicate nutritional advice for physical activity.

By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of macro and micronutrients, collect and analyse nutritional information and provide strategies for behavioural change, provide advice in pre- and post- exercise nutrition and communicate effectively with clients in providing nutritional advice.

Flexible and Distance Learning

The National Fitness Academy at Team Bath has recently introduced two new vocational learning programmes and more flexible learning options. You can now study to be a gym instructor or personal trainer via online distance learning.

We offer a blended learning programme where most of your study is completed in your own time where ever you have a computer.  The programme does require a weekend practical and exam.

Finance > Paying for your course

We accept payment for courses by cheque (payable to University of Bath) or by credit and debit card.

We require the full payment of course fees by the first day of the programme.

Contact Sarah McMillan, Programmes Coordinator, 01225 385247 for more information or to make a card payment.
