SW Talent Centre Athlete Application Form Feb 2010

More than 150 scholarships are available to help talented young athletes in the south west to fulfil their sporting potential.

The scholarships are being offered by the South West Talent Development Centre, a joint initiative between the University of Bath and Sport England.

The centre supports the development of the south west’s next generation of elite athletes by ensuring they have access to expert advisors at a crucial stage of their development.

The scholarships help young athletes, typically aged from around 12 to 22, to access advice from experts such as sport nutritionists, physiotherapists, strength & conditioning coaches, lifestyle management advisors and sports psychologists.

Young athletes being targeted for the scholarships typically have a diverse multi-sport More informationdevelopmental history in common with elite athletes, with many having performed at county standard or higher in more than one sport.
