Andrei Cross Seventh place in heat three of Saturday’s (9th August) 100m breaststroke event - he does not progress
Mark Foster Thursday 14th August saw Mark Foster swim his 50m freestyle heat in an impressive time of 22.35s, finishing sixth.
Athletics
Zoe Derham Zoe finished in 35th place in the heat on Monday 18th August, and therefore does not progress.
Dale Garland Round one is on Friday 22nd August and will compete in a final on Saturday
23rd August if he progresses.
Marilyn Okoro She finished sixth in Saturday’s (16th August) semi-finals and therefore misses out on the finals. 4 x 400m Relay final: 5th.
Craig Pickering Pickering finished fifth in Friday’s (15th August) men’s 100m round two with
a time of 10.18s, meaning he does not progress. He had earlier come third in
round 1.

Team disqualified from 4×100m relay on August 21st.

Hockey Richard Mantell Richard scored the equalising goal to make it 2-2 in a thrilling (Tuesday 19th August) 3-3 draw with Australia. It was not enough to qualify for Thursday’s semi-finals, having finished third in the final group standings as a result. Team GB would have needed to win 8-0 to overhaul the Aussies and claim the second spot. Men’s Classification 5th-6th Team GB vs Korea , Saturday, 23 August score 5-2 final position: 5th.
Judo Marcon Bezzina Marcon lost the opening contest on Tuesday 12th August to Kahina Saidi of
Algeria.
Craig Fallon Finished 7th in -60kg event. Missed out on a bronze medal, losing repechage contest to Israeli Gal Yekutiel. The Brit had earlier lost the second round of the main competition to Austrian Ludwig Paischer.

Pentathlon
Heather Fell SILVER MEDAL, 5752 Points. Disciplines of shooting, fencing, swimming, riding and running all took place on the Friday 22nd August.
Katy Livingston Finished 7th Points: 5548. Disciplines of shooting, fencing, swimming, riding and running all took place on the Friday 22nd August.
Sam Weale Finished 10th overall.
Nick Woodbridge Finished 25th overall.
