Biography >
Grace is currently a player for Bristol Academy WFC in the FA Women’s Super League.
She is also part of the England U23s squad, attending regular training camps, tournaments and games.
Grace is part of the GB Universities Women’s Football team which won bronze at the World University Games in Serbia in 2009.
She is also the Captain of the GB Universities Women’s Futsal team which competed in the World University Championships in Serbia in 2010.
She is Captain of the English Universities Football team which won the Four Nations tournament in 2010.
Grace and her team-mates were FA finalists in 2011; plus in the last 32 of the UEFA Champions League in 2011 with Bristol Academy WFC.
University of Bath graduate Grace McCatty has won her second World University Games medal after the British women’s football team beat Mexico on 15 July 2013 in the final to strike gold.
The GB team ran out 6-2 winners in the final – scoring four second half goals after the two teams were all-square at 2-2 at half time.
The result means that McCatty adds a 2013 World University Games gold to the bronze she won in Belgrade in 2009.
