Biography >
Flora started sailing when she was 11 and was hooked for life.

She has progressed through the RYA (Royal Yachting Associations) pathway, sailing in a number of different squads.

Flora now sails a 470, which is an Olympic class boat and achieved early success with her sailing partner Anna Burnet when they moved into the boat in September 2010. They have been sailing together for five years and this is one of the strengths of their team.

In the summer of 2011 they won the Silver medal in the 470 Junior World Championships. Due to this success they received the Marlow Rope award, which is a prestigious award that is awarded for showing commitment, dedication and achieving results.

Due to the girls continued improvement in the class they are now on the Olympic Development Programme, which is a key stepping stone onto the Olympic Performance Squad.

Flora has been studying at the University of Bath since 2010 and believes she has been able to manage sailing and studying both at a high level.
