Biography:
University of Bath-based Danny Talbot has rapidly established a reputation as one of Britain’s most talented young sprinters.

Coached by Dan Cossins, he won individual 200m silver at the 2013 European Under-23 Championships in Finland and helped the GB 4 x 100m quartet to relay gold.

Two years earlier he had just missed out on an individual medal at the same championships in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, finishing fourth, where he was part of Britain’s silver medal winning 4 x 100m relay team.

He was selected to make his Olympic debut at London 2012, but the 4 x 100 relay team were disqualified in the heats.
