Biography:
Sports Performance graduate Calum is a double World Champion after helping the GB 4x200m freestyle relay team to back-to-back gold medals in 2015 and 2017.
He won his first major medal on the international stage when he took 200m freestyle bronze for Wales at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, having earlier set a Welsh record and personal best in the heats.
Calum won his first British title in the 200m backstroke in 2012 but narrowly missed the qualification time to make the GB Olympic team. Illness then denied him the chance to qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games but he will return to the international multi-sport stage in 2018 after once again being selected by Team Wales for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
He graduated from the University of Bath in 2013 and was supported by an NTC Scholarship. He continues to train in the University’s London 2012 Legacy Pool with the British Swimming National Centre.
