Date and Place of Birth: September 12, 1984, Lagos, Nigeria

William is the 5th fastest British 110m hurdler of all time, following his 4th place finish at the World Championships in Berlin in August 2009, in a time of 13.30 seconds.

William began his athletics career competing in the decathlon, before focussing entirely on the 110m hurdles.

In 2010 he took part in his first Commonwealth Games, representing England in Delhi that year, where he won silver

William is not only a very talented athlete, he is a classically trained pianist and has two degrees and his father, David, is a former Rugby Union player for Northampton Saints.
