Qualifying for Northern Ireland through his mother’s family, Bath-born sprinter Leon made his Commonwealth Games debut in Glasgow in 2014 and will represent them again at the Gold Coast 2018 Games.

A former English Schools 100m champion, Leon is coached by James Hillier here at the University of Bath’s Sports Training Village.

When not training, Leon has worked in a number of industries to help fund his athletics career.

Jason Gardener MBE, the University of Bath alumni and Hall of Fame for Sport inductee, used to babysit Leon when he was younger and Jason is often in contact with encouragement and advice.
