Biography:
George began playing hockey at age seven at Old Loughtonians until moving away to boarding school, Millfield (13-18).
He played for England U16, U18, U21 and England A.
The summer of 2011 George played for the England U21 men and competed in the Great Britain SuperLeague. He has captained several games for the England U21 men including wins over Scotland and Malaysia.
Last season he was back training at Bath captaining the University Men’s 1st Team and also playing for Team Bath Buccaneers at the weekend.
His future aspirations are to continue to play for the England U21 Men this season and gain selections for the Europeans in Holland.
George is supported by the Trendell Family Scholarship, donated by a graduate of the University and his family, which supports student athletes to fulfil both their sporting and academic potential.
