Influential mid-courter Jo (formerly Jo Binns) – one of the most decorated players in Team Bath Netball’s history – makes a popular return to the Blue and Gold this season, five years after leaving to join the Army.

Jo – who served as a ground support flight commander with 654 Squadron during a tour of Afghanistan – won four Superleague titles during her first spell with the franchise and was also head coach of Team Bath Toucans in Premier League Division 1, as well as Regional Talent Coach for the South West.

The Sport & Exercise Science graduate helped the University of Bath win the British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) title for the first time in 2004/5, the same year she won a silver medal with England at the World U21 Championships.

Jo made her senior England debut in 2006 and represented her country at the 2007 Netball World Championships. She also captained the open squad to gold at Netball Europe 2008.
