Biography >
Helen joined Team Bath in 2005 and was unable to play during her first year due to an elbow injury. However after recovering from surgery she came back to achieve a Gold Medal in Doubles and a Silver in the Mixed doubles at the BUSA individuals before captaining the Team to Gold later that year. Helen has represented England Juniors on numerous occasions and achieved a senior ranking of 7 in Ladies Singles (2007). Due to a knee injury Helen has not been able to compete during the 2008-09 season, and has since begun to concentrate on coaching.

Helen’s greatest achievement was in 2004 representing England at the Junior Commonwealth Games and winning a bronze medal in the team event

Her favourite event is senior nationals.

Helen left Team Bath September 2009 to start her new role as Director of Badminton at Exeter University and Head Coach of a nearby performance centre.
