Biography >

Jack made his senior GB debut at the 2011 World Championships in South Korea, when he just missed out on a place in the 400m hurdles final. Instead of running in the final he joined Michael Johnson in the Channel 4 studio to discuss the final, when Green’s training partner Dai Greene stormed to victory.

He came to train at the University of Bath in October 2010 to team up with Malcolm Arnold, one of the world’s top hurdles coaches. He made his Olympic debut at the London 2012 Games, but hit a hurdle in his semi-final and did not complete the race.

He returned to action later in the Games, joining training partner Dai Greene in the GB team in the 4x400m relay final. The quartet missed out on the medals by just 0.13 seconds, finsihing fourth.

In July 2011 Jack took gold at the European Under-23 Championships in the Czech Republic. A year earlier he finished fifth at the World Junior Championships final at Moncton in Canada.
