Biography > Stephanie competed for ParalympicsGB in Beijing, narrowly missing out on a medal in the 100m Backstroke (S9). She made up for it in 2012 however, winning four silver medals and a bronze.
Stephanie trained at the University of Bath until 1998 as an able bodied swimmer.
She broke the British record for the 100m Backstroke when she was 15 years old (in non-disabled competition).
She set a European record to win the gold medal in the 400m Freestyle (S9) at the 2011 IPC European Championships in Berlin, Germany.
