Biography:
Mia is a former World University Championships winner, Superleague champion with Team Bath (2013) and U19 national club champion.
Dynamic mid-courter Mia is now one of Team Bath’s longest-serving players, with 2017 her seventh Superleague season in the Blue and Gold. Dubbed ‘the pocket rocket’ by her team-mates, Mia is also part of this season’s leadership group supporting captain Eboni Beckford-Chambers.
Her proudest moment in netball came in 2012 when she won the first of her six senior England caps against Barbados as the Sports Training Village. She will be looking to add to that total after being named in England Netball’s High Performance Programme for 2016.
Mia is a Sports Performance graduate from the University of Bath and won the British Universities & Colleges Sport [BUCS] title as a student in 2012. She also helped GB win the inaugural World University Championships in South Africa later that year.
Away from the court, Mia is head of girls’ games at Monkton Combe in Bath and is a Surridge Ambassador.
