Biography: Ellie has been playing University hockey since she arrived at the University of Bath in September 2013 to study Chemistry.
She came off the bench to make her début for Wales on 6 May 2014 in a game against Canada in Cardiff, despite struggling with a knee injury for much of the season.
The game ended 1-1 and she impressed sufficiently in that match to earn a place in the Wales Commonwealth Games for Glasgow 2014.
However, injury led to her withdrawal from the squad ahead of the Games.
