Biography:
Former Hertfordshire Mavericks captain Layla has a wealth of Superleague experience, having won the league title in 2011, and was named Superleague Player of the Year in 2014.
She has also tasted significant international experience, winning caps for England on a number of occasions.
Away from the court, Layla recently qualified as a doctor and is employed by the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
