Vastly experienced Asha, who is competing in her eighth Superleague season in 2016, captained Team Bath to the title three years ago. She took a year out in 2014 after giving birth to her daughter, Elise, but returned to skipper the side last season and is vice-captain to Eboni Beckford-Chambers this time round.
The modern foreign languages teacher has been capped internationally by both England and Singapore, the country of her birth. She represented the home nation when Singapore hosted the World Championships in 2011.
Asha, known for her calm and composed nature on court, continues to lead by example, both in the Superleague and as coach of the Team Bath Toucans.
