Biography:
Samantha won Britain’s 65th and last medal of the London 2012 Olympic Games – a silver medal on the final day of the Games. She became the fifth GB woman pentathlete to win an Olympic medal from the four Games to feature the sport at that point, since the women made their Olympic pentathlon debut at Sydney 2000.
