Biography >
Katy made her Olympic debut in Beijing in 2008, where finishing in seventh place. She secured a place on the GB team by winning the individual bronze medal at the 2008 World Championships in Budapest.
Her career has also seen her win a pair of World Cup medals and array of team and relay medals at World and European Championships.
Katy combined training at the Pentathlon GB high performance centre at the University of Bath with studying for a degree in Coach Education and Sports Development at the University.
She now combines training with working as a part-time sports coach at the Paragon School in Bath.
Katy, who is a big Sheffield Wednesday fan, comes from a sporting family – her father, Tony, has the distinction of having beaten Sebastian Coe over 800m.
