Biography:
Heather combined badminton training with coach Pete Bush with studying for a degree in Coach Education and Sports Development at the University of Bath.

She won a bronze medal with the England team at the Bendigo 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games in Australia while at the University.
On graduation Heather transferred to train at Badminton England’s National Badminton Centre. She went on to win a team silver medal with England at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and repeated that performance at the Glasgow 2014 Games, where she also teamed up with Chris Langridge to win mixed doubles silver.
