Malcolm is one of the Britain’s most successful and respected athletics coaches, having coached athletes to a succession of medals on the biggest sporting stages.

Malcolm has coached at 12 Olympic Games – every one since Mexico City in 1968 – and his athletes have to date won three Olympic medals and seven World Championship gold medals.

He headed up the British Athletics centre at the University of Bath from 1998 to 2016 and in that time athletes coached by Arnold won 41 medals at Olympic Games, World Championships, Commonwealth Games and European Championships.
