The 3:Thirty Club

13 June 2011

Sport England’s funding round of Active Universities has been the catalyst for the development of the 3: Thirty Club at the University of Bath. The 3: Thirty Club will provide the foundation for the expansion and sustainability of an intra-murals programme to support student participation.

The 3: Thirty Club will organise informal and structured competitions in sports chosen by students on a daily basis including ‘try-it’ sessions, tournaments, leagues and running groups. Partnerships are already in place to develop additional support in Lacrosse, Rounders, Badminton, Netball and Football and new ideas include orienteering courses across the campus, social running groups and evening social sports activity.

You can influence the activities delivered by contacting the 3: Thirty Club committee, you can take an active role in the committee by applying to be a generic or sports specific 3: Thirty Club ambassador.
