Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams has officially opened the extensively refurbished Team Bath Gym at the University of Bath Sports Training Village.
Amy, who struck skeleton gold at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, performed the honours at the re-opening of the Team Bath Gym, which is bristling with brand new state of the art equipment.
The 57 new pieces of cardiovascular equipment include a dozen treadmills, 11 cross-trainers and 10 rowing machines.
There are also 45 strength stations with an impressive range of free and fixed weights.
Miles Peyton, Team Bath’s Sales Manager, said: “If you’re aiming to get fitness results, we genuinely believe this is the place to come.
“We have a proven track record of working with some of the country’s top performance athletes, but we are equally proud of our record of helping members of the wider community to achieve their fitness goals, whether they’re trying to lose weight or train for a marathon.”
To celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished Team Bath Gym, Team Bath is offering a free one-day trial.
