Matthew Heptonstall was the man to get his side back in the game, scoring a double within two minutes to stun the Buccaneers. Buccs responded well to the setback and effectively killed off the game in five second half minutes.
Matt Ruxton, Tim Davenport and a second from Johnny Kinder gave Buccs some breathing space in the early stages of the half. Edward Stanhope flicked home a penalty corner for the hosts to reduce the arrears with ten minutes to go but Buccs replied with another two goals of their own.
Phil Ball fired home on his reverse before Alsop got his second with five minutes to complete the rout.
Buccs entertain Lichfield at the Sports Training Village on Sunday, looking to register their eleventh straight win in the division.
