The funeral service of Ivor Powell MBE, long-serving football coach at the University of Bath, takes place at the Top Chapel at Haycombe Crematorium in Bath at midday on Tuesday 20 November.
The funeral cortege will come on to the University campus en route to the crematorium. It is due to pass the Sports Training Village between 11.15am and 11.30am
Ivor’s family have requested family flowers only, but donations may be made to the Ivor Powell Sports Scholarship Fund.

A tribute event to celebrate Ivor’s life will be held later in the day in the main sports hall at the Sports Training Village, starting at 2pm. The event is open to anyone who would like to come along and remember Ivor.
Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bath, will speak, along with Paul Tisdale, former University of Bath Head Football Coach and currently Manager of Exeter City, as well as University of Bath graduate and former footballer Richard Oldfield.
