Davenport named Conference West player of season
Team Bath Buccaneers forward Tim Davenport has been named England Hockey League Conference West Player of the Season.
Davenport netted 22 goals in Buccs’ Conference West campaign this season. The Coach Education and Sports Development graduate was one of three Buccaneers players named in England Hockey’s All-Stars Conference West team.
Davenport was was joined by captain George Farrant, a University of Sports Performance student and Trendell Sports Scholar, and by midfielder Sam Hatherley, also a Sports Performance student and a Santander Sports Scholar.
Buccs missed out on a place in the end of season play-offs this year, finishing fourth.
