Biography:
Dom combines study and sport at the University of Bath, with his PhD in Mechanical Engineering helping him design sleds that have consistently kept him in the world’s top ten for the past few years.
A former 400m runner, he was introduced to skeleton while studying at the University and made his debut in January 2008. He was selected for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, finishing tenth overall, and has placed in the top ten at each of the last three World Championships. He will contest his second Winter Olympic Games at PyeongChang 2018.
Dom has previously been supported by a Santander Sports Scholarship and the Team Bath Dual Career Programme.
