Team Bath’s 2013 Corporate Charity Challenge took place on Wednesday 12 June and hosted five teams: Cisco, Sainsburys, Vectura, Millers and the Department of Social Science.
All proceeds raised went to the British Paralympic Association to help Britain’s Paralympic athletes prepare for and compete at future Paralympic Games.
The day consisted of taking part in seven challenges: goalball, run / shoot, beach volleyball, gym challenge, mental challenge, physical challenge and bobsleigh.
Each team had between eight – 12 people and selected most appropriate people for each challenge.
Ben Rushgrove gave an inspirational speech and held a questions an answers session.
Points were awarded throughout the day with the overall winner receiving the 2013 Corporate Charity Challenge trophy.

And well done to all the teams who took part on the day and raised money for the British Paralympic Association.
“We had so much fun through the whole process from raising the money through cake bakes, Wii sports challenge (bowling), wear a sports top day, up to the event itself. I thought the whole event was well organised (high standard).
Ben Rushgrove was absolutely brilliant, it was one of the best stories I have heard for a long while, if everyone thought the way he did we would all be ok in this world, what an inspiring and motivational character he is.” Paul Smith of Vectura
