Athletes’ achievements are celebrated

Four athletes who have won medals at world level competitions are the winners of the latest Team Bath athlete of the month awards. University of Bath-based triathlete Nicole Walters guided visually-impaired athlete Melissa Reid to gold at the World Paratriathlon Championships in London. Buccs promoted to Indoors Division 1

Team Bath Buccaneers’ Indoor side were promoted to the Maxinutrition Super 5s Division 1 this weekend with some fantastic performances in Division 2 at the University of the West of England. University named as one of only two national centres for swimming

Its Sports Training Village has been named as one of only two national centres for the sport in Great Britain as it continues to prepare for the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics. University of Bath students Steph Cornish and Alex Walker helped the British team take bronze at the Master-U BNP Paribas University International in France. It was a terrific weekend for Bath-based British Skeleton athletes with Lizzy Yarnold winning gold and University of Bath student Dom Parsons taking bronze at the opening World Cup event of the season.
