Biography: Ed graduated from Bangor University with a degree in sport science and masters in exercise physiology. During his time at Bangor, Ed played both rugby union and rugby league at university and also held the position of sprint coach and physiologist during hid master’s year. Whilst at Bangor he also competed in the BUSA indoor and outdoor athletic championships as a sprinter.
He joined Team Bath in October 2007 on a sport scientist placement, but moved into the role of a strength and conditioning coach in February 2008. During his time at Team Bath he has become UKSCA accredited which is the gold standard for Strength & Conditioning coaches to achieve in this country.
His role with Team Bath has been to work as the lead Strength and Conditioning coach with the University Rugby high performance squad, and a variety of TASS sports ranging from bob skeleton to beach volleyball. He is an assistant Strength & Conditioning coach with the LTA Tennis Academy based here at bath working the some of the top young players in the country.
Ed also works as part of the commercial and PT team here at Team Bath.
