His career includes full Great Britain internationals in decathlon and World Junior Championships bronze medallist in Canada in the 4×400 relay.

In 2012 he changed events and became a 400m hurdler, enjoying success ever since.

Seb became the Under 23 National Champion and Intercounties Senior Champion.

In 2013, he successfully defended his National U23 title, broke the 46 year old Sussex County 400m hurdle record, came second in the Under 23 European Championship and represented GB in the World Championships in Russia, reaching the semi finals.
